About Me
Born and raised in Kathmandu - the city of temples, I've always admired the sculptural and spatial qualities of traditional Nepalese Architecture. My love for built spaces grew once I felt the synergy of built environment & how it brought people together. At age 12, I I saw my dad build his first home. The love and energy he put into it - from designing to building filled me with this passion to design a home someday and peruse architecture. Architecture for me is like poetry. It's simple yet complex, straightforward yet deep and most of all it's inspiring. It's a living, breathing art that keeps you safe from all adversities.
While Architecture is what gets me moving, I love everything that relates to it, which is basically everything. I love studying natural environment and seeking its correlation with built which is why I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places. I am fascinated by how culture shapes people and how people shape the environment they live in. As a Designer and an Architect, I want to advocate for both the built & the natural environment and help them co-exist in best possible way.
